Solar Water Heater

ETC SOLAR WATER HEATERS

Evacuated Tube Collectors (ETC) consist of a heat pipe inside a vacuum heat tube and they function differently from Flat Plate Collectors.

Design

ETC solar water systems is a Technology where Renewable Energy ie energy from sun is used for the conversion of sunlight into the heat for heating water by using a solar thermal collector. ETC Solar Water Heaters Systems comes with advanced technology of three-layered evacuated glass tubes that provide insulation and outer wall is coated with high-grade absorption material.By these, the tubes absorb the maximum sunlight even in the cloudy season, results in continuous hot water for your home.

Benefits

1.There is less heat loss. Because the absorbing plates are cylindrical, Evacuated Tube Collectors (ETC) absorb heat energy from the surrounding weather reaching the required temperature quicker than Flat Plate Collectors. They can extract heat out of a humid atmosphere and do not need direct sunlight to function.

2.The transparent tubes guarantee the efficiency is high and offers better performance even when the sun is not at a suitable angle.

3.Due to the simple configuration of Evacuated Tube Collectors (ETC), heated water is optimally circulated.

4.It has low maintenance. The components of Evacuated Tube Collectors (ETC) are designed to withstand unfavourable weather conditions. For this reason, they can be installed in areas of extreme weather conditions for water heating.

5.It has low maintenance. The components of Evacuated Tube Collectors (ETC) are designed to withstand unfavourable weather conditions. For this reason, they can be installed in areas of extreme weather conditions for water heating.

FPC SOLAR WATER HEATERS

Flat Plate Collectors (FPC) used the greenhouse effect, the Flat Plate Collector converts solar energy from the sun into heat energy, which then is transferred to the water system in residential and commercial houses.

Design

FPC Solar Water Heater absorb the solar radiation by Flat Plate Collectors which consist of an insulated outer metallic box covered on the top with glass sheet. Inside there are blackened metallic absorber (selectively coated) sheets with built in channels or riser tubes to carry water. The sides and bottom of the collector are usually insulated to minimize the heat loss. Sunlight passes through the glazing and strikes the absorber plate, which is made of copper plate, which heats up, changing solar energy into heat energy ensuring high efficiency and durability. The heat is transferred to liquid passing through pipes attached to the absorber plate.

Benefits

1.Low Maintenance: Flat Plate Collector functioning requires less maintenance to keep it running effectively. The collector when installed outside is more reliable to withstand harsh weather conditions.

2.Easy Construction: The construction is easy because of the simple stationary design. The collector box is designed in a way to keep the water sufficiently heated.

3. There is less heat loss. It is easy to install.

4.Reliability: The solar Flat Plate Collector is more effective at delivering the desired quantity of heated water at the needed temperature. This is one of the reasons why it is highly in demand in many houses.

AIR SOURCE HEAT PUMP

An air-source heat pump can provide efficient heating and cooling for your home. When properly installed, an air-source heat pump can deliver up to three times more heat energy to a home than the electrical energy it consumes. This is possible because a heat pump transfers heat rather than converting it from a fuel like combustion heating systems.

Design

A heat pump’s refrigeration system consists of a compressor and two copper or aluminum coils (one indoors and one outside), which have aluminum fins to aid heat transfer. In heating mode, liquid refrigerant in the outside coil removes heat from the air and evaporates into a gas. The indoor coil releases heat from the refrigerant as it condenses back into a liquid. A reversing valve, near the compressor, can change the direction of the refrigerant flow for cooling mode as well as for defrosting the outdoor coil in winter.

The efficiency and performance of today’s air-source heat pumps is a result of technical advances such as the following:

Benefits

Long Lifetime
Lower Energy Bills
Reduces C02 Emissions
Heats in Low Temperatures
